spotlight magazine extraordinary event venues
The Moritz brewery, opened in 1856, represents one of the first buildings of the new Eixample. In fact, nowadays, it still retains the vestiges of the factory that was operational for over a century and became a benchmark that is still preserved in the historical memory of the locals. It is a space with more than 4500 m² converted in a huge entertainment, cuisine and cultural platform. It is a historical building that has been renovated and designed by the architect Jean Nouvel. It combines tradition and modernity in the city center.
One of the strengths of the entire project is the gastronomic side, where the award-winning chef Jordi Vilà is responsible for directing all the culinary spaces. The multipurpose spaces are equipped with all technical requirements for the production of any type of event.
